Speciale balansassen die in de motor tegengesteld aan de krukas lopen, zorgen voor een stabiele en schokvrije loop van de motor.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Een soortgelijke motor, echter met 1.4 liter inhoud en een reguliere turbo wordt geleverd in de VW Lupo, Polo en de Seat Arosa. Voor de Lupo en de Arosa is het opgegeven verbruik 4,3 L\/100km en voor de Polo 4,4 L\/100km.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Eigenlijk zouden achterop de 3L Lupo de D en de I van het TDI-logo rood moeten zijn vanwege de pompverstuivers, maar vanwege de ecogedachte heeft Volkswagen voor de kleur groen gekozen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Geheel in lijn met eco en duurzaamheid is\u00a0de uitlaat van roestvast, voor zover ons bekend is er nog nooit een uitlaat vervangen wegens roest, afbreken of andere technische gebreken. \u00a0De uitlaat is voorzien van 2 roetfilters en 1 geluidsdemper.
